Rohina is an Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine, UNSW Sydney and holds an honorary appointment at the Sydney Medical School, University of Sydney.

She completed her undergraduate training at Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, India, and post graduate training in Public Health from India. She has a PhD in Medicine from the University of Sydney.
